Top NK Games 2008

Here is the classment spawned out of the thereformade poll.


1. Bloons Tower Defense 3

The most bombastic nk production since Bloons ? =O
It's been a hit over the mynk nerds we are and on newgrounds as well. They can be proud of this ! I must admit when I've been told they were working on this I wasn't excited at all, I even was upset they weren't working on Sinta builder. But contrary to one thought of mine, it blew my mind ! Enough of this redundant et pompous article, let's move on.

2. Sinta

Come on, everyone awaited this mysterious game under this mysterious name. This may not be as lush as bloons, but this is worth long hours of playing. There are in fact a very few NK adventure games (I guess this is the only) and this one has a builder. Lots of puzzle games have a builder today. But adventure ones !?

3. Bloons Player Pack 4

Oh really ? There are a few reasons that make this PP more praised than BPP3. First of all, not a whole bunch on mynk members have been onto bloonsworld forums. I can tell you Bloons player pack 3 was the madness. However, this 4th player pack contains levels with the new features, and this is always awesome to spawn a player pack. So, why not ?

4. Meeblings

I guess this is fair. This game is a gem. I mean, yes, the concept is taken from Lemmings. But this has a twist making Meeblings a hit : they don't move unless you click them ! Offerring a whole panel of moves. You can have fun kust playing with them around. This is great, and puzzling enough to stick ya on the comp for hours. And once again, it's a newgrounds hit !

5. Even More Bloons/Boombot

This is a tie.

Even More Bloons : New tools ? Yes, new tools. How to improve the best net game of the year if not by adding new elements which make it richer in terms of fun and possibilites ? Espcially when these are made from members' ideas. People have also made the hardest levels ever seen with these angles bounces and heliums. Hurray !

Boombot : A very ambitious project from Chris and Stephen. The concept is arch-original and the hardness is top notch. It mixes your brain with your fingers. The game itself is close to Bloons. It has its own website, with a builder ! The sequel came extremely quick after so many good reviews my mynk users. Maybe it would have worth a better place.
